DTS Application Description
This page describes the modules of the DTS Application available under the Standard Application Services Terms. The modules provisioned for a given Customer, and the Registered Profiles for which they are provisioned, are as specified in the applicable Order Form. Capitalized terms used but not defined on this page have the meanings given in the Standard Application Services Terms.
Modules
DTS Deposits
DTS Deposits enables Customer locations to prepare and record deposit information and provides tracking of deposit activity across Customer locations, Carriers, and banks of record. The module captures deposit data at the point of preparation, assigns tracking identifiers, transmits deposit information to Customer’s participating bank and Carrier as applicable, and records status updates as deposits move from location to Carrier to bank. Deposit records and status history are available for search, research, and reporting by authorized Customer personnel. Deposit data may also be created through supported integrations with third-party counting devices and cash-room tools, where Customer has arranged such integrations.
Change Orders
Change Orders enables Customer locations to create, submit, track, and manage orders for currency and coin online, subject to ordering rules and limits configured for Customer (such as order maximums, schedules, and approval requirements). The module transmits change order information to Customer’s participating bank and Carrier as applicable and records status updates as orders are fulfilled and delivered. Change order history is available for research and reporting by authorized Customer personnel.
Snaps
Snaps is an image capture and storage tool. It allows Authorized Users to upload images and related digital information from a supported device and store them in context with the associated records within the DTS Application — for example, images of manifests, logs, receipts, or other documents related to a deposit, change order, or other cash activity. Stored images are retained with the associated transaction records and are available for search and review by authorized Customer personnel. Customer is responsible for the content of all Customer Images as set forth in the Standard Application Services Terms.
Safe Count
Safe Count enables Customer locations to record counts of cash and cash-equivalent units held on site — such as change funds, tills, prepared deposits, and gift cards — and creates a digital record of those counts. Count structures can be configured to reflect Customer’s safe contents and counting practices. Recorded counts are available to authorized Customer personnel at the location, regional, and corporate levels, supporting remote review, audit, and analysis of store cash inventory.
Device InSites
Device InSites collects, normalizes, and displays transaction information reported by supported smart safes, recyclers, and other cash devices, across the managed service providers and device types with which DTS maintains integrations. The module presents summary and exception views of device-reported activity across Customer locations and can display device information alongside other DTS Application records (such as deposits and change orders) for research and reconciliation purposes. Device InSites reflects the data reported to DTS by Customer’s devices and service providers; DTS does not operate, service, or control such devices, and device-reported data is dependent on the accuracy and availability of the data transmitted by those devices and providers.
Access Methods
The modules described above are accessed (i) through a web browser, or (ii) where applicable and provisioned, through application programming interfaces made available by DTS, in each case as described in the Documentation and consistent with the definition of “Application Services” in the Standard Application Services Terms.
Related Third-Party Services
The DTS Application records, transmits, and displays information about Customer’s cash operations. Transportation of money and other articles is performed by Customer’s Carriers; banking services (including receipt, verification, and crediting of deposits and fulfillment of change orders) are performed by Customer’s banks; and smart safes, recyclers, counting devices, and related hardware are provided and serviced by third-party providers. These services and devices are not part of the Application Services and are not provided by DTS.
Changes to the DTS Application
DTS may enhance, update, or modify the features and user interface of the DTS Application and its modules from time to time, provided that no such change will materially reduce the core functionality of a module for which Customer has paid during the then-current Term. Material changes to this page are made in accordance with the Updates to Terms provisions of the Standard Application Services Terms.
